Georges Schwenkedel (September 17, 1885 – March 3, 1958) was an organ builder from Alsace. From 1921 he worked with Roethinger and afterwards also with the organ maker Zann from Bischheim. In 1924 he established himself as an independent organ builder in Strasbourg. Schwenkedel designed his organs according to the principles of the Alsatian Organ Reform. The company soon grew to become one of the largest organ makers in the area. After Georges' death in 1958, his son Curt (May 15, 1914 – October 2, 1988) took over. The company closed in 1975.
