- A church was built on Wilton Road in London-Pimlico in 1874, belonging to the parish of Saint Peter's Church, Eaton Square. The church was dedicated to Saint John the Evangelist. T.C. Lewis & Co. built a three-manual organ with 42 registers for the church around 1877-1878.
- Saint John's Church was hit by a bomb on November 10, 1940, completely destroying the building. The ruin was subsequently demolished.
