- A new church was built in Västra Husby in 1816-1817. Carl Hanner built an organ for this church with fourteen registers in the years 1838-1844. This instrument was replaced in 1938 by a much larger organ, built by John Vesterlund. The front and all pipework from the old organ were taken over, but several registers have been modified. For example, the Voix Céleste was shortened to a Kvinta, the Violin 8' to a Prestant 4' and the Spetsflöjt 4' to a Spetskvint 2 2/3'. On the pedal, the Principal 16' (originally Violon 16') and Oktava 8' (originally Violoncell 8') have been revoiced and renamed.
- On March 2, 1977, a fire broke out in the church, destroying the entire interior. The church itself could then be rebuilt.
