In 1915, the Johnston Organ Company built a three-manual organ for the Church of Notre Dame des Victoires in San Francisco. The instrument was modified in the 1960s to make it more baroque in character, but the result was not satisfactory. A restoration was carried out in 1974 at the initiative of Emile Neyron and Charles Shatto. The original instrument has been completely reconstructed. The work was performed by Jack M. Bethards.
