The organ in the church of Sampont was built after 1850, but the year of construction is not known, and the maker is also unknown. It is thought to be a builder from France. Louis Lemercièr renovated and modified the organ, but the year of this is also unknown. It must have been sometime between 1920 and 1930. Noteworthy are some changes in the disposition, of which it is also unknown when they were carried out. The Voix Céleste has been replaced by a Tierce and the Flûte Travers 8' by a Quinte. There are also two register drawers for a Bourdon 16' and a Cor de Nuit 8', of which no pipe work is present anymore.
