Vibyggerå Gamla Kyrka dates back to the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. The church was replaced by a new church building in the years 1871-1874, but was not demolished. A fire broke out in the new church in 1916, so that the building had to be restored. During this time, the old church was again set up for church services, until the new church was put back into use in 1919. The old church has remained as a monument and has been restored several times. There is no organ present.
