Die Orgel enthält älteren Material: Pipes aus 1840 von Joseph Frosch, Pipes aus 1883 von G.F. Steinmeyer und Co.
Dismantled (1986)
The first organ in the Sankt Ludwigkirche after the reconstruction after World War II was built in 1965 by Wolfgang Scherpf, partially using ranks by Frosch (1840) and Steinmeyer (1883) from the old organ of the Domkirche in Speyer. The organ had three manuals, cone chests and electric action. It was demolished in 1986. Gerhard Kuhn then built a new organ, in which some registers were taken over.
