Pispalan Kirkko in Tampere was a wooden church, which was lost in a fire in 1968. Jaakko Ilveskoski designed a new church building, that was inaugurated in August 1971. The church building was renovated 1996-1997. There was no pipe organ in the church. In 2011, Martti Porthan built a two-manual organ with 24 stops. The instrument is inspired by Gottfried Silbermann's organ. Advisor was Jan Lehtola. The facade has been designed by Kari Hella. The organ was dedicated on November 27, 2011.
