- On January 26, 1900, Mamert Hock signed a contract for the construction of a two-manual organ with 22 stops for the Garnisonskirche in Saarlouis. As far as we know, it was the first organ that Hock built independently. The instrument was put into use in 1901. In 1906 it was transferred to the newly built Evangelische Kirche in Saarlouis. Georges Schwenkedel carried out an overhaul in 1928, in which a new engine was installed.
- Lotar Hintz rebuilt the organ in the years 1950-1952. Consultant was Karl Rahner. The old organ casewas removed except for the lower case. Hugo Mayer renovated the instrument in 1982. The pneumatic action was electrified. Due to plans to purchase another organ, the instrument was sold to the parish in Wustweiler in 1999. Here a new organ was built with the material by Thomas Gaida.
