The Lassaulx-Kirche in Weißenthurm was built in the years 1836-1838. This church was designed by Johann Claudius von Lassaulx. The church belonged to the parish of Kettig, and became independent in 1872. The church was expanded in the years 1900-1902 with a tower and a transept, designed by Caspar Clemens Pickel. In 1844 an organ was built for the church by the Gebrüder Weil, organ builders in Neuwied. The organ was demolished in 1902 by Johannes Klais.
