Gebaut von: Karl Wilhelm Inc. (1967)
In the summer of 2018, the Grand Séminaire of Québec-Ville moved to a building previously owned by the Couvennt des Soeurs du Bon-Pasteur. There was an organ by Rieger in the previous building of the Séminaire, but this has not been relocated. An organ was acquired for the new chapel from the Abbaye Bénédictine in Mont-Laurier, Québec. The instrument was built in 1967 by Karl Wilhelm. It had been out of use since 2011. The disposition was slightly changed during the transfer by François Desautels. The Cor de Chamois 2' of the Grand Orgue was replaced by a Trompette-Régale 8'. On the positive, the Doublette 2' was replaced by this Cor de Chamois. The organ was inaugurated on March 24, 2019. The inaugural concert was given by Emmanuel Bernier and Claude Lemieux with works by Johann Sebastian Bach.
