The Sankt Josefkirche in Köniz was built in 1991 to replace a smaller church building on Feldeggstrasse. In this church there was a small organ from 1962, built by Georges Scharnberger. The Manufacture d'Orgues de Saint-Martin built a new organ for the new church. This instrument was dedicated on October 22, 1992.
