Gebaut von: E.F. Walcker & Cie. (1838) - Opus 30
In 1838 Walcker built an organ for the Französisch-Reformierte Gemeinde in Offenbach. It is an early organ by this builder, opus number 30. It had thirteen registers. In 1905 it was converted by Walcker and expanded to 25 registers. It now became pneumatic with cone chests and a free-standing console. The organ has since been preserved virtually in its original state. It was renovated by Steinmeyer in 1954, during which damage caused during the Second World War was repaired. In the pedal, the Cello was replaced by a Trompete, and a Terz was added to the Hauptwerk. The instrument was overhauled by Steinmeyer in 1967.
