  • Saint Edmund's Church in Gunning is a small Anglican Church, built in 1866. The current organ was installed in the church in 2005 by Pipe Organ Reconstructions Pty. It has a long history, and probably was built in 1863, because a fragment of a newspaper dating April 1863 was found inside the organ. It's certainly built in England. The organ was originally owned by a private person, who sold it (or donated it) to Saint Paul's Anglican Church in Chatswood. in 1908 the organ moved to Saint Peter's Anglican Church in Burwood East, and in 1992 to All Saints' Church in Woollahra. From here it was sold to Gunning.
  • The organ has been altered since it was built. The church in Woollahra bought the instrument in 1992 as their second organ. Mark Fisher reconstructed the organ in 1995, trying to return as far as possible to the original 19th century concept.
