Gebaut von: Koehnken & Grimm (1889)

  • In 1889 the firm of Koehnken & Grimm built a two-manual organ for the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Steiner Avenue in Cincinnati. The church itself was built in neo-Gothic style and was consecrated on May 5, 1889. The organ was donated to the church by Pope Leo XIII. The church building remained in use until 1989, when the parish was merged with the Parish of the Holy Family, East Price Hill. The church was closed and the organ has been relocated to the Holy Family Church. The old church remained standing, but fell into serious disrepair.
  • The Holy Family Church was dedicated on June 18, 1916. The church replaced an older building from 1884, which had become too small.
