  • An organ was built in England around 1866, most likely by Francis Nicholson of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, for the Mount Erica Wesleyan Church in Prahran, Victoria. It was installed by William Anderson, but was sold to the Wesleyan Church in Daylesford four years later, in the late 1870s. It was installed here also by William Anderson. On 27 January 1871 the organ was inaugurated in Daylesford with a performance by J. Eggleston, organist in Prahran. In 1882 the organ was sold to the Wesleyan Church in Clunes. It was again transferred by William Anderson and given a place behind the pulpit. In later years it was moved within the church.
  • In the years 2002-2005, the organ was thoroughly restored by the South Island Organ Company. To make it possible to move the organ within the church hall, it was placed on a mobile platform. Due to restoration work on the church building, the organ was temporarily installed in the transept of Bendigo Cathedral in 2006. In November 2010 the organ was relocated in Clunes.
