In 1895-1896 the Johannes Klais company built a new organ for the Sankt Severuskirche in Boppard. The organ had two manuals and pedal and 23 stops. In 1939 it was electrified and expanded by the Gebrüder Gerhardt. The organ was replaced in 1973 by a new instrument.
