1997 Pirchner Orgelbau  Reconstruction

In 1630 Andreas Putz built a small organ for the Michaelskirche in Innichen (San Candido) in South Tyrol. The old instrument remained untouched for a long time, but in 1901 it was replaced by a new pneumatic organ from the company Gebr. Mayer from Feldkirch. Some of Putz's registers were retained. The organ was demolished in 1997 and a reconstruction was carried out by the Pirchner company. Pirchner built an almost new organ according to Putz's concept, including a short octave. The organ still contains 39 wooden pipes by Putz in the interior, and the 25 front pipes in the case of Putz.
