L'orgue comprend le parent le matériel: de 1871 de JohnC.B. Standbridge
In de jaren 1870-1871 bouwde J.C.B. Standbridge een nieuw orgel voor de Arch Street United Methodist Church. Het kerkgebouw zelf was in de jaren 1864-1870 gebouwd naar ontwerp van Addison Hutton. Het orgel werd in 1916 omgebouwd door de firma Steere & Sons. De tractuur werd geëlectrificeerd en oo de dispositie is gewijzigd. De huidige vorm kreeg het orgel bij een nieuwe ombouw, in 1959 door de firma Casavant. Het orgel is hierna ingespeeld door Edward Power Biggs.
