- In 1892 the firm Steer(e) & Sons built a two manual organ for the Unitarion Church in Elgin, Illinois. The instrument was inaugurated on December 16, 1892, by Harrison M. Wild The organ was opus number 344 of the company.
- The organ was sold to Robert B. Whiting in 1992. Patrick J. Murphy restored the instrument and installed it in the music studio of Robert Whiting. After his death in 1998 the orgel was sold to the Old Pine Street Church in Philadelphia. Patrick Murphy transfered the organ to the church. Het enlarged it with a couple of ranks, and enlarges the pedal compass to thirty notes. The Trombone 16' is taken from the c.S. Haskell organ from the Memorial Episcopal Church in Philadelphia, that has been demolished.
