In memory of their mother-in-law Gerry Conroy, the couple Daniel Whalen and Katharine Conroy Whalen financed a new organ for the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Oakland. The instrument has four manuals and pedal with 92 stops and was built by the Canadian company Létourneau. The organ was dedicated on 11 February 2010. It was played on this occasion by Olivier Latry.
