The Église Notre-Dame de la Guadeloupe was opened on December 24, 1947. The firm Pels & Zn. placed a unit organ in the church. The real ranks were Diapason 8', Flûte à Cheminée 8' and Viola 8'. The Clarinette was 'synthetic'. The church was officially consecrated on August 14, 1949. In 1970 the organ was replaced by a new instrument.
