- On March 1, 1891, Heinrich Voit & Söhne was commissioned to build a two-manual organ with twenty-four stops for the new Evangelische Kirche in Schopfheim in Baden. The church building is designed in Gothic revival style by the architect Durm. The organ was put into use in the spring of 1892.
- In the course of time the organ has been overhauled several times, whereby the stop list was modified. The instrument has been restored in 2000 by the Freiburger Orgelbau company.
