In 1975, a fire destroyed the interior of the Church of Saint Leonard in London-Streatham. The organ of the church, located in the northeast corner of the church, was also destroyed. After the rebuilt of the building, a new organ has been installed in 1979 by the company J.W. Walker & Sons. This instrument has another location, on a gallery on the west side of the nave. Thomas McLelland-Young was consultant, and the organ case has been designed by Douglas Feast. The organ was inaugurated with a concert by Gillian Weir.
