Demolished (1915)
- Under the advice of Eugene Thayer, the firm built Hutching, Plaisted & Co. in 1875-1876 a new organ for the Old South Church in Boston. The instrument had three manuals and a pedal with 55 stops. The organ was dedicated on January 12, 1876.
- In 1915 the organ was replaced by a new organ by Ernest Skinner, in which some ranks were taken over from the previous instrument.
