- The Trinitatiskirche in Riesa was built in 1895-1897 after a design by the Berlin architect Jürgen Kröger. The building was taken into use on July 4, 1897. The organ also dates from 1897, and was built by the company Jehmlich. The original specification had 42 stops on two manuals and pedal.
- In 1946-1947, the organ was renovated and expanded to 64 stops on three manuals by Jehmlich. The stoplist was also largely modified on this occasion.
- A restoration has been carried out in 2008 by Ekkehart Groß.
