The Christuskirche in Herzberg am Harz was built in 1963-1964. Rudolf Janke installed a pipe organ in 1969. The instrument was renovated and enlarged by Janke in 1996. Consultant during these works was Hans-Ulrich Funk. New stops were installed on the Hauptwerk (on a spare place) and on the Pedal, and three stops were modified. In 2014 the company Bosch maintained the instrument. The Oktave 1' of the second manual was modified into a Quinte 1 1/2' by them.
