Die Orgel enthält älteren Material: Pipes, windchests and parts of the organ case aus 1958 von Wolfgang Scherpf
The Dreifaltigkeitskirche in Frankenthal was destroyed by bombing in 1943. The Weigle organ from 1929 was lost. After the church was rebuilt in 1949, a small temporary organ was installed. Wolfgang Scherpf completed a new three-manual organ with 31 registers in 1958. The instrument was replaced in 1983 by a new organ by Gerhard Kuhn. In addition to much of the pipework, Kuhn also used Scherpf's windchests and parts of the organ case.
