  • In 1742/1743 Johann Heinrich Scherff built a new organ for the village church in Reinstädt. It was expanded in 1751 by Justin Ehrenfried Gerhardt with a Posaune on the pedal. In 1877 the Poppe firm worked on the organ. They expanded the instrument again with a few ranks.
  • After the Second World War, the instrument fell into disrepair, making it unplayable around 1975. The Schuke company drew up a report in 1991, but due to a restoration of the church building from 1995 onwards, nothing could be done about the organ. In 2007 the company Bochmann started a restoration, with restoration to the current condition as the starting point. The organ could be re-dedicated in 2009.
