- De Chapel Royal van Dublin Castle werd gebouwd in de jaren 1807-1814, en is op Eerste Kerstdag 1814 in gebruik genomen. Het gebouw is in gotische stijl ontworpen door Francis Johnston. De kapel was in gebruik bij de Church of Ireland voor de Lord Lieutenant of Ireland.
- Het orgel is geschonken aan de kapel door Prins Albert van Engeland. Sinds 1943 is de kapel onder de naam Church of the Most Holy Trinity in gebruik als rooms-katholieke kerk voor het Ierse leger. Er worden tegenwoordig geen kerkdiensten meer gehouden.
