- In the cathedral of Porvoo (Borgå) an organ was installed in 1799 by Olof Schwan. The interior was renewed in 1978 by Veikko Virtanen. The organ has three manuals and 44 stops.
- The church was severely damaged by a fire on May 29, 2006. However, the interior was largely spared and has been carefully restored. The organ also survived the fire.
