Gebaut von: Winfried Albiez (1986)
The Christkönigkirche in Karlsruhe-Rüppurr was dedicated on October 11, 1936. The organ, a work by the Voit company, was transferred from the previous church building. In 1939 a new and larger organ was ordered from Carl Hess. It used parts of the old organ of the Synagogue in Karlsruhe in its construction, also a work by Voit. Despite a renovation in 1965, this organ was no longer adequate. Under the advice of Andreas Schröder, Winfried Albiez started building a completely new organ in 1984. Albiez died before the organ was completed. It was put into use in early 1986.
