- In 1957 Karl Schuke built a new organ for the Rundkirche in Berlin-Tempelhofer Feld. The old Sauer organ from 1928 was severely damaged in the war and was replaced. The wind supply has been taken from this previous organ, possibly also a few ranks. The organ was inaugurated on the fourth Sunday of Advent, December 22, 1957.
- The organ had 24 stops upon delivery. It was completed in 1965 by the placement of a Brustwerk with six stops.
- The organ was overhauled in 1992. The organ maker Knaak restored the old bellows, while Bartelt Immer re-voiced a number of stops and changed the temperament from equal to a Bach-Kellner-based temperament. Finally, the Mixtur 5-7 fach of the Hauptwerk has been reduced to 4 fach and the Scharff 4 fach of the Oberpositiv to 3 fach.
- In 2016 the organ has been cleaned and tuned on a' = 441 Hz, to make it possible to play together with the Bechstein grand piano. In 2019 the pedal has been expanded with two new stops by Edzard Knoke. The pipes are located on both sides of the organ in new pedal towers. Consultants were Christoph Wilcken and Markus Epp.
