In 1858 Friedrich Friese built a new organ for the Schelfkirche in Schwerin. It is a two-manual organ with 21 stops. In 1932 it was rebuilt by Marcus Runge with pneumatic action. In 1966 the Sauer company carried out a revision. The disposition had been altered by these interventions. The organ was restored by Christian Scheffler in 1999 and returned to its original state.
