The parish church 'Mater Dolorosa' in Langenau was consecrated on October 13, 1968. A pipe organ was not installed in the building because there were no financial resources for it. However, the wish remained alive, and in 1987 an organ fund was founded. This resulted in the construction of a two-manual organ by the Link company. The organ is equipped with a coupling manual. It was inaugurated on April 20, 1991 during a festive church service. Manfred Beck from Ulm played the organ on this occasion.
