On December 20, 1981, the Fourth Sunday of Advent, a new organ was inaugurated in the Matthäuskirche in Landau-Wollmesheimer Höhe. The instrument was built by Heinz Wilbrand. During the dedication service, the organ was played by Heinz Göttsche, consultant during the construction. Another concert followed on December 25, when Mirjam Christiane was the organist.
