In 1805 the parish of Saint Jacob in Lüttelforst bought a second-hand organ, which was dedicated in the church in the same year. It has probably been acquired from a monastery that was closed at the time, possibly in Eppinghoven. The organ may have been just a small positive (Rückpositiv or Brustwerk) of a larger instrument. The company Gebr. Müller rebuilt the organ in 1883. In 1981 it was restored by Fischer & Krämer. The original disposition has been largely restored. In 2002 Johannes Klein overhauled the organ.
