- In 1911, Murray M. Harris built a new organ for Saint Paul's Episcopal Cathedral on Olive Street in Los Angeles. The instrument was relocated to a new building on the corner of S. Fugueroa Street and 6th Street in 1924, by the Kimball company. The organ was renovated by Aeolian-Skinner in 1949, when a new console was installed. In 1980 the instrument has been removed from the church and put in storage. The console of 1949 is installed in the roman catholic Church of Saint Mary of Perpetual Help in Chicago. The organ itself has been renovated and was sold to Saint James' Episcopal Church.
- It was installed in Saint James' Episcopal Church after a thorough restoration by the companys Schlicker and Austin in 1993-1995. Restoration consultant was Manual J. Rosales. During the restoration, the organ was expanded with Kimball pipes from 1926, from the previous organ of Saint James' Church. The Gamba 8' of Great was made by Wangerin for the organ of Saint Vibiana's Cathedral. Two electronic 32'-labials are placed on the pedal. The Great slider chest has five open places, the Pedal chest has three. In 2005 the Rosales company carried out a restoration.
- A small Antiphonal Organ was added to the instrument by Rosales in co-operation with Joseph Zamberlan. Zamberlan constructed the organ case and the pipes, while Rosales carried out the design, scaling and voicing of the instrument.
