Description no.: 2003313.
Bâti par: Alfred Kern & fils (2003)
L'orgue comprend le parent le matériel: Organ case de 1731 de Christian Vater
The organ of the Martinikerk in Stadthagen was built in 1731 by Christian Vater. The organ had two manuals and an independent pedal with a total number of 32 stops. The organ was badly damaged by a fire in 1908. After restoring the old cases, Furtwängler & Hammer built a new organ with 44 stops in 1909. This organ, which was not built in the style of Vater, was replaced in 1974 by a new 54-stops instrument, built by the Hammer firm. This organ also did not last long: in 2003 Alfred Kern completed the current instrument, a three-manual organ with 51 stops and a French concept. The design is in style with the work of Andreas Silbermann, but the Schwellwerk is inspired by the work of Cavaillé-Coll. The reeds are of various scales. According to Callinet, the Voix Humaine and Ophicleide are made, while the Dulcian 16' of the Rückpositiv and the Trompete 8' of the pedal are typical North German in character.
