- The Hervormde Kerk (Dutch Reformed Church), Wilhelminastraat in Halfweg was opened on May 21, 1925. The first organ was supplied by the firm Steinmann & Vierdag. It was inaugurated with a concert by Mr. J.F. Rootlieb from Amsterdam. The firm Gebr. Spanjaard installed a new pipe organ in the church in 1950. This organ was demolished around 1976 and replaced in 1978 a new organ of Emile Verschueren with mechanical action and slider chests.
- In 2015 the pedal was expanded with a Bassoon 16', that came from the organ of the former church 'Eerste Opgang' in Amsterdam. In 2019 the pedal was enlarged again with a Gedekt 8' from the former organ of Piet van Egmond. The lowest five pipes of the Principal 8' have been replaced by pipes from the firm L. Verschueren from 1961, made for the organ of the Pensionaat Jonkerbosch in Nijmegen.
- Since the formation of the PKN, the building has been referred to as the 'Kleine Kerk' ('small church'), as a distinction from the much larger former Gereformeerde Kerk. This building (Grote Kerk or 'large church') was closed in March 2011, and demolished a number of years later. Since then the Kleine Kerk is the only protestant church building in Halfweg.
