The Hervormde Kerk (Dutch Reformed Church), Wilhelminastraat in Halfweg was opened on May 21, 1925. The first organ was supplied by the firm Steinmann & Vierdag. It was inaugurated with a concert by Mr. J.F. Rootlieb from Amsterdam. The firm Gebr. Spanjaard installed a new pipe organ in the church in 1950. This organ was demolished around 1976 and replaced by another instrument.
