The Hervormde Kerk (Dutch Reformed Church) in De Hoeve was built in 1920. It is unknown whether there was a pipe organ in the building or not. In 2005 the church was no longer in use for services. From 2005 until 2019, the building was used by artist Martin de Jong, who used is as his studio. When he moved to Frederiksoord, the church was empty again. There are plans to transfer the building to a mansion.
