After the old St. Peter's Church in Heesch was destroyed by fire on June 30, 1961, a new church building was dedicated 1967. The company Pels proposed to install a two-manual organ with twelve stops. Ultimately, a smaller organ was chosen. This organ, supplied under the name 'Forzando', was dedicated on March 2, 1969 with a recital by Hans van der Harst, consultant on behalf of the KKOR. As an extension, the instrument is equipped with a Subbass on the pedal, which is placed behind the organ.
