- Matthieu van Dinter built an organ for the Sint Werefriduskerk in Wervershoof in 1861-1862. It was inspected on July 28, 1862. The organ was location on the frontside of the church building. Some of the pipes of the instrument are older, but the organ case were manufactured by Van Dinter.
- After the construction of the current church, the company Gebr. Gradussen transferred the instrument. They expanded it with a number of stops. The original arrangement has also been modified: the Positief was not placed in the balustrade, but incorporated in the enlarged main organ case.
- In 1971 the instrument was restored and modified by the Vermeulen company from Alkmaar. Hans van der Harst was consultant during the work. On the Hoofdwerk the Violine 4' was replaced by a Quint (old pipework), and on the Positief the Salicionaal 8' was converted to Prestant 4', the Voix Céleste 8' to a Flute 2'and the Mélophone 4' was replaced with a new Sifflet 1'. On June 24, 1971 the organ was put back into use with a concert by Albert de Klerk.
- After almost thirty years, the organ needed a major overhaul. It was decided to reconstruct the original stop list with some alterations. The work was completed in 2000, after which the organ was festively put back into use.
