In 1953 bouwde de firma Elbertse een nieuw orgel voor de Sint Andreaskerk in Groessen. De historische orgelkas van Courtain uit ca. 1680 die in de kerk aanwezig was werd gebruikt als rugpositief voor het nieuwe Flentrop-orgel in de Sint Baafskerk te Aardenburg. Adviseur bij de bouw was dr. P.J. de Bruyn namens de KKOR.
