- In 1938 the Zeeuws Museum in Middelburg acquired a cabinet organ from 1832, built by Frederik van der Weele. It was donated to the Zeeuwsch Genootschap der Wetenschappen (Zeeland Society of Sciences) by ir. P.G. Meijers. The Society loaned the organ to the museum. The instrument was installed in Huis 's-Hertogenbosch in Middelburg in 1996, and has been in the wedding hall of Veere town hall since 1999.
- The instrument was restored in 1977 by Fama & Raadgever. A new restoration was urgently needed, as the instrument is in an unplayable condition (2003). Because it could no longer remain in Veere Town Hall, it has been in storage for several years. A permanent good location for this organ within the province of Zeeland is being sought.
